Dear Lone Rock,
I’d like to thank the Lone Rock School community for welcoming me in and making me feel like such a part of things. It has truly been a gift to be back in a school leadership position, and I am grateful for having had the opportunity. That being said, allow me to be the first one to welcome back Mr. DoBell! We have been working together with Ms. Murphy and Mrs. Jensen on the transition and feel confident it will be a smooth one. I have a substitute teacher application I am submitting and hope to remain connected to Lone Rock School in that role on a regular basis. You are all just too wonderful to say goodbye to just yet.
Sincerely,
Kathy A. Schneider
Interim District Superintendent/MS Principal

Parents and Guardians,
The Lone Rock school teachers and administration have been reviewing English language arts curriculum all school year and we have arrived on a product and program that we feel meets the standards needs for our students and community here in Stevensville. We are now moving into the period where parents and community members may come into the school and review the samples that we have.
The ELA curriculum materials will be available for review to parents and community members beginning on Monday April 22, 2024 and will conclude on Friday May 10th. At that point we will be taking the recommendation to the Lone Rock School board for adoption at the May 21, 2024 board meeting.
The district has selected IReady Reading and Magnetic Reading as the final curriculum and recommendation to adopt. The samples are in the school and ready for review. If you are interested in reviewing materials please let the office know ahead of time, as well as Mr. DoBell.
