Parents and Guardians, Good afternoon. We have created a brief video explaining the drop off procedure for the morning. Teachers and bus drivers need to physically see adults picking up children in the afternoons to make sure that they are going to the correct adult/location. Parents, Guardians, and Community members, This school year the Lone Rock School will be producing the Lone Rock Record publication that will come out every two months. The effort by the school district is to connect members of the public to the school, invite them into the school, and give an update on school occurrences, events, and noteworthy student accomplishments. Parents and Guardians, Good morning. Attached is the 2023 Middle School Flag Football Schedule.

Come on out for Goodies with Grandparents! Friday, September 8, 2023 from 7:45 to 8:20 am. We will have coffee and goodies ready for grandparents to come enjoy our school and see where their kiddos have fun all day! Join us on the front lawn, weather permitting, or in the MPR. If you would like to see the inside of the school, we ask that you sign into our security system and receive a name badge at the office. School will be in session starting at 8:25. We look forward to meeting you!

Parents and Guardians, The After School Program will begin after Labor day. It is open to all enrolled students and will run until 5:30 pm each day. It will be $30.00 a week for each child and $15.00 a week for a second child. More information can be found at the link below: https://www.lonerockschool.org/article/1216030

Parents and Guardians, Good afternoon. A couple of items here at the beginning of the year. Students who are dropped off in the morning should not arrive to the school playground before 8:15am, as the school does not have consistent supervision out there before 8:15am. Additionally if you come to the school to visit or volunteer in the classroom, please make sure to bring your drivers license into the school so that we can print a temporary visitor ID tag for you. Parents and Guardians, Good afternoon. The Lone Rock Middle School will be hosting the annual parent meeting on Monday August 21st from 6-7pm in the Gym. If your son/daughter would like to play a middle school sport this school year, please attend the parent meeting. The Lone Rock Middle School offers flag football, volleyball, boys and girls basketball, and boys and girls track. All participants are required to have a current physical on file in addition to other required paperwork. That can be found at the following link: https://www.lonerockschool.org/page/ms-athletics The school district will keep with the current student fees for middle school sports for the 23-24 school year. The sports schedules are still being finalized and will be published when complete. The volleyball schedule is active on the website for the 23 season. Thank you and see you on Monday!

Parents and Guardians, Good morning. We are approaching the first day of school next week on Wednesday. We will host open house next Tuesday August 22nd from 6-7pm. We are looking forward to a great year for our students. Parents, Good afternoon! The lost and found is overflowing in the elementary school. It is all set up in the Multi-Purpose Room. Feel free to stop by and claim lost items. Anything left over will be donated to the clothes closet. Thank you,

Parents, The electric company has indicated the power outage will be a few hours. As a result school will be dismissed at 12:00pm today. We will run the busses at 12:00, parents can also pickup kids and check them out from the elementary office. Students may stay at the school until 2:30 if needed.

Parents, The Lone Rock School has lost power and we have contacted the electric company and they are aware of the situation. We are proceeding as scheduled. If you want to come pick up your student please check in the office. We will update every 15 minutes.
